Nick Andrew, is not just a loud Scottish musician, he actually lives in his car!

Before the financial crisis, on the 12th July 2006, in his own private austerity measure, Nick moved out of his lovely rented wee cottage in Bedfordshire.
He has lived in a Blue VW Passat ever since. Partly to bypass the extortionate rents, in the south of England and partly to follow his dream of making a living through music and possibly make it to the breadline.
A friend of Nick's suggested that he document this unusual lifestyle choice in the form of a book, so Nick has created the non-fiction work, ‘Backseat Bedroom’.
The book is part manual, part travelogue with more than a sprinkling of humor. It has been likened in style to Bill Bryson meets Jeremy Clarkson, with lots of interesting and bizarre tips on how to live in ones automobile. You will never think of your car in the same way again!

My first house!
Aye, it's now been 19 years since the start of the experiment. I've moved home 4 times from a VW Passat to an Audi A6 estate to a Vauxhaul Vivaro van to my current home an old Mercedes Vito.
There have been many more adventures along the way. The switch from car to van living took 6 months to get used to. There may be another book in it......!
